Joey & Megan ~ Sandy Spring, Maryland

This was such a fun wedding to photograph! Joey & Megan decided to have a small and intimate ceremony with just their closest friends and family. It was so special to watch the bonds between their families and the love that everyone had for both Joey & Megan. The ceremony was held at Woodlawn Manor in Sandy Spring, MD. Can I just say that this venue is a photographers dream??? There were several cute buildings, horses, fields, and so much more!

Megan & Joey – Thank you! I truly enjoyed getting to know you and wish you all the best in your adventures in married life! 🙂

These are her Grandma’s pearls – they are so beautiful!

Seriously, can you not just feel the love this Dad has for his daughter? So sweet 🙂

A little time away….

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I will be out of the office until October 10th. I am finally getting to take a little time away with my sweetie (yay!!!) 🙂 Before I left though I wanted to post a quick sneak peak for a very special couple, my brother and now sister-in-law 🙂 I had the privilege of photographing their wedding in Cleveland, Ohio this past Saturday. More to come later 🙂

Brent & Amanda ~ DC Wedding Photographer

It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and just like any Sunday Amanda started walking home from church. As she left there were a group of guys chatting out in front of the church. Well, one of the guys told Brent that Amanda was from Georgia and that was all Brent needed to go up and convince her that she must go to lunch with him. She was from the same state as him and all 🙂 Shortly after they decided to start seeing each other, Brent who is a Marine, was sent to Japan. That did not stop them though and they continued their relationship long distance (Thank the Lord for whoever invented Skype!) until they could be together again. They were married on July 23,2011 at their home church where they originally met, Capitol Hill Baptist.

Brent & Amanda – Thank you! Your wedding turned out perfect and I was so thrilled to be a part of it. Enjoy Japan 🙂
