Tonight was beautiful….
They first met in a class at George Mason. Nick was interested and Lauren wasn’t so sure. Nick won her over though and the rest is history 🙂 These cuties were married just over a month ago in a traditional ceremony at Holy Trinity in Georgetown. It was a gorgeous day (and much warmer than when we did their engagement session 🙂 )!
Lauren & Nick – I wish you all the best! Thank you for choosing me a your wedding photographer and allowing me to be a part of your special day!
Loved her dress from Blush
A few bridals before the wedding
Love these two images that my second photographer, Leah, was able to get…
This was so cute!! The ring bearer was a little nervous to walk down the long aisle by himself so Nick gave him some encouragement 🙂
MARRIED!!!!!
To welcome Lauren into the Air Force family they had a saber arch and then at the end of it Lauren got tapped on the tush 🙂
The bride & groom rode in style to the reception with a vintage Rolls Royce (more of those images later)…
IIsn’t she beautiful?
LLooking daper Nick 🙂
This moment with her grandfather made me melt….how precious!
Right before the sun left us we snuck out for a few images with the Rolls Royce. So fun!
Lots of great dancing!

From the first time Andrea & Patrick met at their friends lake house there was a connection. There was lots of chatting, game playing, and just a great connection overall. After they left though Andrea wasn’t quite sure if she would see Patrick again, but Patrick made sure he did and the rest was history. They were married on May 5th at Holy Rosary church in DC and then had their reception at The Villa in MD. The day was filled with many guests who flew in from other states and even countries to celebrate with Andrea & Patrick.
Andrea & Patrick – Thank you for having me document your day! Enjoy reliving your day 🙂
Thanks to Anna for the lovely ring shot!
Don’t you just love her blinged out shoes? 🙂
Trish & Victoria from My Mobile Salon did a great job on all the girls!
I always love the shots of mom helping her daughter into her dress. Such a symbolic moment…..
Isn’t Andrea gorgeous?
Great shot Anna got before the guys headed off to the church…
Can you tell I love rings? 🙂
The church was gorgeous!
Andrea & Patrick had a very early wedding (9:30am ceremony) and due to timing of the reception we only had 20 minutes for all of their bridal party and bride & groom portraits at the Lincoln. It was crazy to say the least but I couldn’t have done it without a great wedding party who listened and was just great overall! The images turned out great and really accomplished Andrea’s wish to have the portraits embody Lincoln. For any other bride’s who would like to incorporate a monument in their portraits, you do need a permit for this and can obtain it through NPS.
LOVE these!
She is beautiful!!!
Patrick looking dapper 🙂
Now time to party!!
Andrea used pictures from their engagement session as part of her centerpieces. Love the idea!

As we sat at Buzz coffee shop talking about Joey & Melissa’s wedding plans I remember getting more and more excited about their big day! Melissa described so many of their details for their intimate bay wedding at The Oaks. Despite the rain, their day turned out beautiful! Recently this wedding was also featured on Bayside Bride. Check out their day below and leave Joey & Melissa some love 🙂
Melissa & Joey had so many personalized items in their day. Custom hankies for each other are the first of many…
I could have photographed these flowers all day!
Unfortunately we had some bad weather come in right in time for the ceremony. So, the ceremony was shifted to the covered bridge after waiting the storm out for awhile.
Joey & Melissa’s story starts with an eHarmony match up that ended up being their last. After a few weeks of communication they met up at a local wine bar,Veritas. Both agree that it was their best first date ever:)
They both wrote love notes to each other and locked them into an antique box with a bottle of wine.
My favorite from the day!
Thanks to Korie for this great room image!
Joey is known for carrying around a love note from Melissa in his wallet. Well, one day the wallet gets wet and yes, the love note was ruined. So Melissa had a love note made out of etched metal so that it would never be ruined. How sweet is that???
I LOVE how the silhouette came out!
Another cool feature…..Melissa ordered cufflinks for Joey that had maps in them. One map was from where they met and the second is where they were getting married.
Cookie bar! Melissa made all the cookies herself!
and their favor was the recipes….
Last dance….

After Thaddeus & Monica’s engagement session (the rockin’ session at the Kennedy Center) I knew that their wedding was going to be amazing. Monica is the queen of glam and they have been at their church since they were little. The emotion within their wedding did not disappoint and was so tangible. This was my last wedding of 2011 and it was a great way to finish out the year:) For time sake I am going to jump right into the images, enjoy!
Thaddeus & Monica – It was so much fun capturing you both! Thank you for asking me to be involved in your wedding day.
Yes those are some gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes!
Is she not the most precious flower girl ever???
At this point I grabbed tissues off of the front row to give to the bride – she was melting my heart 🙂
Monica you are beautiful!
One of my favorite parts of the ceremony! The pastor asked all the married couples who wanted to renew their wedding vows to come up and then right there everyone took vows again! As the couples leave they can leave their information and the church will send them a certificate. How neat is that???
Married!!!!
Her bling bling 🙂
A little fun in the alley…
They have many talented family members/friends who performed during their reception
A little fun with the mirror during toasts
