Kendall & Andrew ~ Virginia Engagement Photographer

California boy meets Midwest girl. Kendall & Andrew first met during their freshman year at Georgetown during an all class picture. They were spelling out”HOYAS” with candles as the photographer took the image from above. As fate was have it they were standing next to each other and struck a conversation. That conversation led to hanging out, which ultimately led to Andrew surprising Kendall with a kiss….the rest is history 🙂

For their engagement session we met up at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna. The session was so laid back and casual. It was really great getting to know Kendall & Andrew more! I am so looking forward to their wedding in May!

Kristen & Chris ~ Baltimore, MD Engagement Photographer

Kristen & Chris met up with me last weekend in Baltimore, Kristen went to school in the DC area and decided to make Baltimore home after college. Chris was born and raised on the Eastern shore and will be joining Kristen post wedding. Since Baltimore is home they really wanted to capture the feel of the area. What better place to start then Camden Yards? 🙂

Alyssa & Taylor ~ DC Engagement Session

The day before Thanksgiving I met up with Alyssa & Taylor for a quintessential DC session. Both Alyssa & Taylor are Floridians, but Alyssa’s family is originally from this area and as she puts it “my heart is here”. So when Taylor popped the question in September Alyssa knew that she wanted their engagement session in DC while here for Thanksgiving. Alyssa did her research and knew exactly what she wanted, yet allowed me to have freedom as well (thanks girl!). Enjoy a peak into their session….

Kristy & George ~ DC Engagement Photographer

Laughter – that is how I would describe Kristy & George’s DC monument engagement session. The entire session they just quietly talked with each other and George had Kristy laughing a ton! It was so much fun to watch and be a part of 🙂 This sweet couple will be married in Kristy’s home state of Massachusetts in 2013, but they really wanted to document their time her in DC – where they met and fell in love.

On one of Jaelyn & Adam’s first dates they walked around Great Falls National Park, so when discussing a location for their session it only seemed appropriate to start where it began. The day of the session was a beautiful early fall day. It was such a fun time! This sweet couple will be married in Kentucky in 2013.
