Off to make dinner but had to get this sneak peak up for Mrs Genna. She knows how to work it for my camera:) More to come soon…..now off to conquer dinner!

It was an early morning when I met up with Genna & Kenny for their engagement pictures. They had picked Georgetown for their background and we wanted to get our pictures done before the city really woke up….of course the morning sunrise light was amazing as well:)
They are also getting married in Georgetown in just 2 weeks!!! I can’t wait for their wedding, it is going to be so great!
Genna & Kenny – Thank you for all the laughter!!! Your shoot was so much fun (even if we all were still fully waking up!). I hope that you enjoy your pics and cannot wait for your day!

I seriously love morning light……it is so flattering to everyone!
They are always laughing!
LOVE this pic with the Kennedy Center in the background!
See guys – laying in the middle of the road and risking getting run over was so worth it!:)
Seriously Genna??? Wow….
Last but not least….I cannot resist a red door:)
A few weeks ago I met Troy & Mary @ the World War II memorial for a last minute Christmas shoot. This was my last shoot of the year and it was a great one (well, once we found parking!). We couldn’t have picked a better day for it though. It was a rare November day @ 70 degrees.
Troy & Mary – I had a blast getting to know you guys and capturing years of love. Enjoy the pics:)

Well, it is getting late and deadlines are getting closer, so on to the pics!
I love the sweet nature of this one!
So many years of marriage wisdom here…
As we wrapped up the shoot and I was headed back to my car, I shot this image. What a great way to end 2009!
This shoot was nothing short of amazing! We had bearable weather (for DC at this time of year!) w/no rain, gorgeous couple, and many laughs! Not to mention we ended the night with a dinner at The Good Stuff Eatery (the rosemary fries are amazing!). We were going for an urban look so we ventured down to the Eastern Market/Capitol Hill area. I am pretty certain we got our desire:-)
It is getting late, so let me just say this…..Andrea & Austin – it was such a pleasure getting to know the both of you more. You are such a special couple and I can not wait to see what God has in store for your life. I hope that you enjoy the pics and that they bring you many laughs.
♥Heather
The couple has a normal walk route through an Arlington neighborhood that they take often and one day while they were on their walk Austin popped the question! They wanted some pics at that corner to remember that moment. I was more than happy to oblige:-)
Come on who can resist a random red door??? They make amazing pics!
Andrea is the “queen” of recycling! If she sees a bottle on the road she will carry that bottle miles just so she can recycle it. So, when I saw the big blue recycle bins I could not resist. She is one of the few people in the world who can make recycling look sexy:-)
Really….wow….this image gets me so excited about photography.
Ok, so as I was processing these pics I was hanging out at a local coffee shop (Buzz). I got to this pic and one of the baristas walked by and stopped dead in her tracks and said, “man he is HOT!!!” Austin – you are looking pretty studly in this image:-)
For this next one I will give someone a $5 Starbucks card if you can guess where this was (comment below with a valid email address)
I was so excited when we were walking through a random back alley and saw this car. Come on, how awesome is this?
Had a great night shooting a great couple and laughing a lot 🙂 A & A – here is a sneak peak of the yumminess we got tonight!
