Waiting on baby ~ Maryland Maternity Photographer

A couple weeks ago I met up with Angee for a maternity session.  She and her husband are with the State Department and are stationed in West Africa.  As she neared her due date she flew back to the DC area to wait on baby to make an appearance 🙂  I am so excited to be joining her for the birth of baby and newborn photos after.  The trifecta of photos is awesome 🙂

For Angee’s maternity session we did something a little different than I normally do – we started in studio.  Normally studio work is reserved for my newborns, but Angee requested a few and I said why not 🙂  After the studio time we headed to a local park, Allen Pond Park for some outdoor shots with her first baby (the 4 legged kind).  I seriously can’t remember the last time I laughed this much at a session.  Seriously we laughed so much that we ended up going almost an hour over!  Sooo much fun 🙂

During the session Angee would make silly faces while I was testing light or when we were cracking up about something.  I told her that I was going to put together a collage of the faces of Angee 🙂
