iPhone love

Last Spring I finally entered this century and got a smart phone, an iPhone to be exact.  I love it!  I find that I have to set boundaries with it though.  I cannot check my email or Facebook at every stoplight 🙂  When I knew that I was getting the phone I knew that I wanted a cool cover.  I had seen a couple other photographers with a custom cover that doubled as an advertisement for their business.  I loved the look of it and decided that I wanted to go that route.  So, a little time on Google and I placed an order from Zazzle.  It came and I loved it, although after a couple months I was loving it less.  The Zazzle cover is canvas with a hard black shell around it.  I don’t think I fully realized this till I got it.  Within a couple months it was getting pretty dirty.  Not a good advertisement now 🙁  Since I loved the custom look I went back to Google and spent way too long searching for a new cover.  I finally settled on Coveroo.  The entire case is hard plastic and my image covers the entire case.  I will say that the Zazzle interface was easier to work with (you saw an image of the phone and how it would look).  With Coveroo you email the image to the design department after you purchase.  If you are like me and used a collage of images, make sure to send it in full size and not sized for the phone.  Overall I love the cover (much better than its predecessor!) and I get asked about it all the time!  Great way to make your cover unique and personal 🙂
